Carla (Head Coach of all styles & Safeguarding Lead)

Carla began her dance journey at just two years old and later went on to train professionally, earning a full-time scholarship at a prestigious performing arts school.

Following her training, Carla worked across the industry in television commercials, modelling, and commercial dance. She has performed nationwide alongside major artists including Plan B, Emeli Sandé, and Jessie J, and has completed high-level examinations in Jazz, Modern, Tap, Ballet, as well as Musical Theatre.

Carla graduated from The University of Chichester with a First-Class BA (Hons) in Dance and Performance, followed by earning her PGCE Teaching Qualification. During her studies, she trained across multiple styles and was selected to work and perform with leading choreographers both across the UK and internationally.

Carla’s professional experience also includes dancing at Disneyland Paris, taking on multiple acting roles, and representing Team England at the Dance World Cup, where she placed in the top four for her solo performance.

With extensive industry knowledge and a passion for inspiring the next generation, Carla founded CCDANCE, which has since grown into one of Sussex’s leading schools for elite dance training and talent development.

In 2024, Carla was awarded Female Choreographer of the Year, earning recognition for her award-winning choreography and contributions to the dance industry.

Zia Dallas (Dance Teacher - SENCO LEAD)

Zia has been dancing for 20 years and teaching for 8 years. She has a degree in Primary Education from the University of Brighton as well as a Level 5 Dance Teacher Qualification. For the last two years she has specialised in teaching all year groups with her work being recognised in a popular Early Years magazine.

Zia has trained and completed exams in a variety of styles from jazz, contemporary, lyrical, commercial, hip-hop, tap, ballet and musical theatre. Additionally, she has completed qualifications in drama and music.

Zia is a supportive and passionate teacher who always finds the best in everyone. She has worked with people aged 2 - 30 of all backgrounds and abilities. Some of her recent work has been taking to competitions across the country, placing in the top three consistently.

Zia brings to CC her knowledge in performance and technique through a safe and supportive environment that allows everyone to discover their passion for dance. She prides herself in creative choreography that highlights and challenges the ability of everyone.

Orla Gledhill (Head of Ballet)

Orla trained at the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) in London. She graduated in 2023 with a BA (Hons) in Ballet Education. Within Orla’s dance degree she studied the foundations of other dance styles such as lyrical and commercial. Alongside this she also completed her Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Dance (LRAD). She is now a fully qualified and registered teacher with the RAD.

Before beginning her degree in teaching, she grew up training and completing exams in multiple genres of dance which she also enjoys teaching. These include ballet, tap, modern, jazz, Lyrical, and musical theatre. As well as performing in many shows with her dance school she was lucky enough to perform in professional pantomime for 5 Christmas seasons.

Amy Barry (Dance Teacher)

Amy has been dancing for over 10 years, throughout her childhood she was a competitive gymnast and dancer. She is trained in Jazz, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Contemporary, Commercial, Hip-Hop, Acro, Tap & Acting.

She then went on to train professionally at the Wilkes Academy of Performing Arts where she obtained her BA Honours in Musical Theatre, which she graduated with in 2023. She has then gone on to performing work in TV & Film as well as stage. Amy has over 6 years teaching experience in several styles, and has been with CC Dance now since August 2023, and is really excited for her future here!

Chloe Gosden (Dance Teacher in Training)

Chloe has been dancing with CC since it opened. Chloe is currently doing her training to become a qualified dance teacher. Having danced with CC for such a long time. She knows CC inside out and all the children have a great relationship with her. Chloe has won as a soloist many high level competitions as well as currently training in out Elite Senior Squad Team.

Chloe assists many of our classes as well as has her own individual private lessons each week working on competition routines. Chloe can’t wait to continue her training and love for dance with CC.

Eden Morley (Dance Teacher)

Passionate, energetic, and committed to inspiring the next generation, Eden is a professional dancer and teacher with a wealth of experience on some of the world’s biggest stages. A graduate of the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA), Eden has trained in multiple dance styles, including all classical, commercial and Latin and ballroom styles, bringing versatility and depth to both their performance and teaching.

Their professional credits include dancing for P!nk, Rita Ora, the Eurovision Song Contest 2023, and the BRIT Awards 2019, showcasing a dynamic career rooted in precision, adaptability, and star-quality presence. Drawing from this industry experience, Eden creates an empowering and motivating environment for students—encouraging creativity, discipline, and confidence both in and out of the studio.

Dedicated to nurturing young talent, Eden strives to help every dancer unlock their potential and discover their unique artistic voice. Eden is so excited to be a part of CCDANCE , and to see the future of the talent created.

Holly Hicks (Dance / Ballet Teacher)

Holly has been dancing since age two, training in ballet, tap, contemporary, jazz and lyrical. She performed with Sussex and English Youth Ballet and completed exams up to Advanced 1 Ballet, but discovered her true passion in teaching. She studied at the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), graduating with first-class honours in Ballet Education and a distinction in the Licentiate course, becoming a fully qualified and registered RAD teacher. Whilst at the RAD, she deepened her practice in ballet, contemporary, jazz and lyrical, gained extensive knowledge of the RAD syllabus, undertook varied teaching placements, and explored dance science, technique, history, analysis, and choreography. She also received the Dissertation Award and the Karsavina Heritage Award.

Since graduating from the RAD, Holly has gained her Progressing Ballet Technique qualification and is now working towards her modern DDE - always looking for ways to further her knowledge and skills for her students. Holly is dedicated to exploring varying teaching techniques that help every student to reach their potential within a supportive environment, inspiring a passion for dance in all.

Jennifer Jamerson (Street / Commercial Teacher)

Jennifer has been dancing her whole life, mainly specialising in tap and street dance. Her Aunt owned a dance school that Jennifer attended and discovered her passion for moving and teaching. Here she took many graded exams in tap gaining high marks consistently. Shortly after this she joined a street company to develop her knowledge in the style and inevitably joined their senior performance crew. She has a 1st class degree in Primary Education from the University of Brighton, graduating in 2023 where she also captained the dance society’s street squad resulting in multiple first place trophies.

Jennifer loves to constantly better herself as a dancer and choreographer, bringing more complex moves with each session. She prides herself in her passion for authentic street dance and finding teaching methods to suit all abilities and ages.

Ellie (Assistant Student Teacher)

Ellie has been a student at CC for over 4 years now. Ellie is one of our strongest Musical Theatre students. Ellie receives distinctions in every exam she takes as well as places at every competition.

Ellie loves children and wanted to put her passion for performing into assisting lessons with younger dancers and performers. Ellie loves assisting in classes and pushing the children to be the best they can be!

Ellie is so excited for her future at CC and continue her high level training as well as train the next generation.

Lisa Montero-Burlton (Office Manager - SENCO SUPPORT)

Lisa is our behind-the-scenes admin manager who is kept busy looking after our school contracts and helps keep the studio running smoothly. Most importantly Lisa is one of our CCDANCE mums, with 2 of her daughters attending our Musical Theatre Academy and Dance school. Lisa has been working for CCDANCE for over a year now. Lisa has worked in Admin all her life and enjoys working alongside Carla to bring the best opportunities and event organising for all the dancers.

Rick Robbins (CCDANCE Professional Photographer)

Rick has been a Digital media creator with over 15 years’ experience in short form video production and photography. Working across a range of genres including broadcast, commercial, music videos, corporate, documentary and sports. Rick has worked with CC Dance for the past two years creating high-end video and photography content, covering our training, shows and events.
